Returns the population kurtosis,  (or more precisely the ‘excess’ kurtosis) of a series  (for ), calculated as follows:

 

 

Here,  is the mean and  is the population standard deviation of the series

 

There is no immediately equivalent function in Microsoft Excel (the KURT command is equivalent to MnKurt).
